Helicopter Pilot Eye Tracking and EEG
The Operator Performance Laboratory at the University of Iowa has toghether with NRC in Ottawa installed a Smart Eye Pro Eye Tracking system in a helicopter to monitor the pilot.
The Smart Eye Pro Eye Tracking system is integrated with an EEG system to monitor the pilot during fllight. A research project was made together with NRC, National Research Council, in Ottawa/Canada. Tests were made in a Bell 412 helicopter and in a simulator.
